…is not any better than it was five years ago IMO. So, is it time to roll my own? I don’t want to. I didn’t want to write an image gallery, but I had to. I don’t have the time. I’d rather be posting photos and building community rather than spending long hours writing, testing and maintaining code. Mind you, this is all hobby stuff to support my passion for hot rods. So, I don’t have much time to waste.
I’m all for hosted solutions, for example, Kickapps. Very cool product. It’s just that I have spend hours and hours learning to customize their product. Their documentation does not live up to my expectations. Also, they charge too much to get rid of ads.
